Sitting on my deck watching the birds early in the morning is one of my favorite things on my “bucket list,” which I get to do every day! A bucket list makes me feel like I’m not living yet, until … (fill in the blank), but the birds just tweet away and seem to enjoy every tree they’re in.
Jesus said to look at the birds. It’s a “command” I love to obey, commanding me to sit and listen and be still! I feel “Humility’s Presence” sitting with me.
- I am just part of the scene, not the scene.
- I do nothing to make nature work, just watching.
- I hear every sound and notice … all is living without me.
Then I “hear” a smile, it has a voice.
“I made creation to share Myself with you.
I made birds to show you something about Myself.
Humility is sitting under My Mighty hand of life.
- Knowing I see you.
- Knowing I know you
- Knowing I know how you best fit in my creation.
I enjoy lifting you up into My purposes made just for you …!
